Me and My Kind: An Oral History with James Meredith is an interview conducted by Yasuhiro Katagiri, a Fulbright Scholar from Tokyo, doing his thesis for his Ph.D. at the University of Southern Mississippi. Although James Meredith has been interviewed thousands of times over the years, this interview is outstanding due to the depth of knowledge of Mr. Yasuhiro Katagiri, who had spent his entire time in Mississippi studying the racial history of Mississippi. The book covers in a concise manner every aspect of Meredith's life in Mississippi and his efforts to make Mississippi a better place for everyone to live. 79 pages.
